Default One gun - Three Shooters

Dad and brother wanted to go shoot their sidelocks.

*75 yards*
My dads Hawken for some reason just kept poofing, clunking it, not fully igniting the powder. After 6 shots we gave up on it until i could fully clean out the breech and see whats going on.

My brother took his cva mountain Stalker .50cal 1:32 twist and 80gr american pioneer 3f, 360gr Lee Minie * i cast them*.

Shot high but very good! I think with some powder adjustments, we'll have it dialed in and shootin tight in no time.

-------------------------------------------------------

100 yards
I shot my nephews Wolf this evening as well. Started off with 90gr BH209, 245gr Powerbelt, Winchester W209 primers.

After 3 shots i was MAD and getting ready to put it away. I normally shoot 295's in this but we were running low.

Once i cooled down i said to hell with it. I had a box of T7 magnum pellets, loaded up 150gr mag load, 245gr powerbelt, winchester w209 and walked away feeling like the biggest muzzleloading pimp on the range!
Shots labeled 1-3 are with 90gr BH209. Im tellin you, this rifle just hates the 245s with BH! But it loves a mag load of T7 with the same 245s.

My dad was getting ready to leave but i talked him into firing the Wolf with the same 150gr load. He pulled the shot to the left. If he hadnt, that wolf would have pulled a 1" group

-------------------------------------------------------------

Back to 70 yards, i got my brother to shoot the Wolf but with the 295's and 90gr BH209 - Winchester W209 primers. You can see his 3 old shots from his mtn stalker up in the upper right hand corner

Hey Devil, tell you dad I said to "cheer up".

Looking good there. Nothing better than shooting with family & friends.

oh i agree, it was an awesome time out on the range. The wolf was putting a smile on everyones face today.

$188 for the rifle
$54 for the scope
$35 for the dead on one piece ring set up.

1 1/8" group with my 3 shots @ 100 yards. How the heck could any of us complain?!! And a magnum charge to boot.

Nice shooting!!! Those T7 pellets and 245 PB would make a nice coyote load
