Really they are both great scopes. I have the Nikon Omega for my ML and love it. The circles took awhile to get use to though. I liked the Omega enough that I bought it for my .450 Marlin Guide gun.

I have a Nikon Omega on my Remington and it is a great piece of glass. I did not go with the BDC but that is no concern to me. That is the one I would recommend. It would put 200 yards a possible distance with practice.

Both good scopes, I have two Nikon Omega and really like them I use the circles out to 250 yards on steel knock downs. I do not often have a need to shoot beyond 150 at deer though I did a few times hunting in corn fields before I moved from IL to AR.

I put a Nikon Omega with the BDC reticle on both my Knight and TC Encore this spring. I am in the process of sighting them in so I have not hunted with them yet. I like the idea of the BDC reticle even though I won't use it much. I do hope to get out to the mid-west and west sometime with the gun where the BDC might come in handy.

I also have the Nikon mounted on my CVA. No complaints here.

200 yards? Don't over-complicate it. You can do that with a straight 4x and a duplex reticle.

I own both and like the thinner reticle of the Nikon Omega better for 100yds and under. I prefer the Leupold for longer ranges for sure. They have a better ballistic reticle IMO.

I have both and they both are great scopes. I now have 7 Nikon Omega scopes and 1 Ultimate slam so I guess that shows which i prefer. Either way you can't go wrong though.
