Default Need ramrod for Knight Revolution that works on pointy tipped bullets

I have an older Knight Revolution and a new TC Encore. The TC comes with a rod attachment that is deeply recessed for the pointy tipped bullets. The rod that came with the Knight is very shallow. From what I have read, this can damage the bullet when loading. The last trip to the range in the spring had my Knight shooting very inconsistently. This past weekend's trip I loaded only with the TC rod and the Knight was very consistent. So am I damaging the bullet and causing the inconsistency? Where can I get a new Knight rod with the right tip?

Thanks.

Usually a damaged bullet tip does not cause any great difference in point of impact out to 100 yards. I would suspect something else.

Anyway, you can drill out the end of the rod a little to create a cavity, or just get a seating jag that fits the bullet contour better.
