Default New Trigger

Got the new trigger from CVA today for my Hunterbolt!! What an amazing difference This one is about 2.5- 3lbs and no grit. It does have a good deal of over travel but i think that once i oil it and shoot it and break it in, things will get better. Its so nice though! No more worrying about straining a finger anymore

It should help the groups to!

its 10 years old so they werent known for the best triggers in those years. But hey, at least it now has a better trigger now than a $1,000 pro hunter! Im a happy camper.

Well i used Flitz polishing compound, doped up the internals that rub against each other and it helped. Its light weight but still a bit of creep. No biggy, as long as its light thats all i care about!

New trigger is mounted. Old trigger next on the right.

These 2 area's is where i am obviously getting the creep due to some rough area's.

If you have a tube of Tetra, I'd give it a good shot of it. I like that stuff for lubing contact areas.

Gander, my Endeavor has a nice crisp 2 pound trigger and only the very new top of the line CVA has decent triggers in them.
