Default 220grn Lehigh Sabotless bullets with BH209.

Today was my first outing with the new Lehigh sabotless bullets. I will mention they are really cool looking and very easy to load. But, a short starter is a must in my opinion. I did load some with out a short starter and it was pretty hard. A QLA would be really nice for these bullets.

I did not get the kind of accuracy at 100 yards that Sabotloader did, but it wasn't bad for the first time out with them. I actually was really impressed at 200 yards except for one shot i actually pulled.

These bullets are still in the testing stages and i already know of some changes being made already. So i will just post some pics below for now and get more detailed later.

The average velocity of all shot was 2312 fps.

After talking to you on the phone - i was surprised at your description of 'ease' of loading in the Super DISC.... but then after talking to Dave that is what he was hoping for.

I believe the difference in accuracy, if there were a large difference, was that when I loaded I engraved the bullet from the base through the gas rings and up a good portion of the bullet. It was a semi-difficult load. In that requard the bullet was really stable in my tight Knight bore. One of the things that Dave might do is to add two more gas rings that would in effect give more stability and ability of the bullet to ride the bore in any rifle.

Also my target was a 75 yard target, although I did shoot a lot of breakable targets @ 100 yards and had zero problems shooting what I was looking at.
