Default Knight LK 93 with 1-32mm scope

Frontier Gander and I made a rifle trade and this was what I received in the trade. It is a Knight LK 93. The LK 93 is basically a Wolverine. But this is a small rifle, and with that reduced weight stock.

The range report.

Rifle: Knight .50 caliber LK 93 model with composite stock, 22 inch barrel, and #11 breech plug.
Scope: Thompson Center Hawkins 1-32mm scope with Tradition Rifle Co. mounts. Weaver steel S45 bases.
Caps: CCI magnum caps
Powder Charge: 70 grains of Goex 3f
Projectile: Speer 240 grain flat point in a green harvester crushed rib sabot.
Swab solution: Rusty Duck Black Off
Distance to target: 25 yards

After checking the rifle over and mounting the scope, I wanted to shoot it. So out to the range I went. I did bore sight the rifle in the house so I figured I would be close.

I started with the target on the left and fired two shots. Not too bad, so I made a little adjustment. I then aimed at the target on the right and fired one shot. Still a little off so I made another small scope adjustment. After that I had it where I wanted it and proceeded to shoot.

I was swabbing every other shot. The rifle worked flawlessly and handled that load real well. Granted this is 25 yards and tells me nothing about the rifle, other then the scope was close.

I would have kept shooting but company showed up so I stopped for the day. At least I got to shoot the rifle.

I have shot a few of those rifles over the years. Good shooting on your part, but I am not surprised that it was a Knight rifle doing it. I expect that from Knight rifles. Your rifle still has(as you know) the good Green Mountain barrel.

I know that rifle right there has made a fool out of some of the more expensive rifles. Tom.

Dang Cayugad, that's stacking them in there. I've never owned a Knight. Maybe I ought to start thinking about the old stainless "Knight luke 11 inline muzzleloader" a guy near my hunting lease has advertised.

Thats funny and true.....my LK93 54 will shoot several of my favorite 100gr loads better than my newer fancy GMB 54. They both have adjustable triggers and the GMB's is a tiny bit better.

The LK93s were probably one of the best "entry level" rifles ever made and easy to carry all day.
