Default Shot my Flintlocks as well...

I started with the .54 that I built in the late 80s...




I call her Daisy, because I installed a Lancaster Daisy patchbox...It's my idea of what could have been used in Piedmont NC in the 1770s...




Then I moved to my .40 caliber...I started at 25 yards and was shooting slightly to the right so I made an adjustment...




I bought this in 1977 while living in Atlanta from Bob Watts...I call her Sweetheart because she has a weeping heart inlay as a thumb piece...It was a .45 but I converted her to a .40...

Dang `ya Hawkeye. You're just posting those pictures to make me drool.

That's some mighty fine flintlock shooting. I wish I could see those tiny original style sights.

Iffin yous was ta put a scope on that there .40 I just might be able to hit a squirrel with it.

Of course, if you did that you would burn in hell for all eternity.
