I took the Accura out today to fiddle around with some JSG 2F and the slick load sabots. I put 8 shots through this rifle earlier with the 295gr powerbelts and once i got it sighted in, i decided to do a bit of testing with the sabots.
The hole in the center is actually 2 holes. One from the previous 295gr powerbelt and the other which i didnt get the angle in the picture was my first shot with the 250gr slick load sabot on a cold barrel. The rifle sat under the shade tree for 20 minutes while i was inside getting cooled down.
The next 3 shots were all on a hot barrel and each shot got 5 minutes to cool down. The heat really affects the POI as i found out. BUT!! The group was excellent.
