Default Shot the new .50 barrel!

I got out of work a little early tonight, and since it is a bit cooler I decided to try getting my new gun on paper. I put the .50 barrel on my new Optima Elite and grabbed the sand bags.

Shooting some of last year's 777 pellets (2) under 200gr T/C Shockwaves, my first 3-shot group after scope adjustments was just under 1 1/8" at 100 yards. Wow! I had an Optima 209 before and it didn't shoot this good. I'm excited to see what happens at longer ranges. I had planned on trying some Blackhorn, but if I can get results like that out of pellets then there is no reason to change.

Now if November could just get here a little quicker...

Awesome to hear! I never shot the Elite but they seem to be a great rifle. Try blackhorn, you wont regret it!

One and an eight inch groups at 100 yards would make my day with any gun. Good shooting.
