Default Remington Breech Plug

Guys I know this has been on her before but I can't find the sucker. Where is the best place to order a replacement breech plug for my Rem. 700ml. I want one that works well with BH powder too?

Thanks

Here is where I ordered my last one.

As for being BH compatable. I use the Canadian version of the nipple and BH works just fine for me. I've even used the weaker/cooler ML primers w/BH and got it to go off consistently (though I do live in the south) I settled on STS primers and they work beautifuly.

Hope that helps
Scott

This might be the best place to get the Canadian conversion and it will work with BH...

But there is another conversion that is now available for the 700 that may be even better. I have one on the bench have not installed it or shot it yet but looks like a winner to me...

Might check this post out....

I will really like to see how well that new one works out. Its one of the only reasons i never bought a Rem ML even though i pretty much liked everything else about them.

GM54-120

Have you seend this post - i created a conversion for the 700 also using the Canadian conversion. I altered the bolt and firing pin, constructed a bushing that fits in the nose of the bolt. All of this was patterned off the Knight. It really does work very well but the price of Hunters conversion makes it a better buy...
