Default New load for the Blazer

Well i got a cheap shooter when money is tight. I took the cva blazer out yesterday evening with 80gr JSG 3f, .015 patch and .490 round ball at 50 yards.

The upper 6 shots * 3 to the left & 3 to the right* were done with a hot barrel. Just shoot and load up type of deal.

The next 6 shots right in the bullseye were with a few minute cool down between shots. I couldnt find any patches due to the tall grass but i'll mow it down either tomorrow or the next day so i can shoot again and see about recovering some patches.

I bought some unlubed patches today and lubed them with the birchwood casey Barricade. I'll give those a try next time in both the Hawken and the Blazer. I was really impressed on how it did with the .018 pillow tick the last time i tried the barricade.

nice shooting. That looks like a good roundball rifle you have there.
