Default New Englander arrives but no time to shoot.

The New Englander arrived and the custom muzzy arrived but I won't have time to shoot til after planting season. I am really behind now that the weather took it's toll on some stuff already in the ground plus some rodents got in the greenhouse and destroyed about 600 watermelon, cantaloupe ,and other seeds that were just germinating. Now I have to replant all that. late freeze last night bit my alfalfa pasture and took out the broccoli and cabbage on top of it. That's South dakota weather though. I can handle that but I can't handle not being able to get in a range session. I may just have to take a little time in spite of everything. All work and no shooting makes Chet an unhappy boy Thanks semi for the New Englander and Bronko for the Custom. I like them alots

Sorry to hear of your bad luck. We had five inches of snow last night also. But it has all melted off already. Although more is on the way tonight. Nothing like spring in the northern climates.

That englander I think you are going to like.

Sorry the weather is giving you more work Chet. We've about said good bye to Spring down this-a-way, and hello Summer. The high yesterday was 88 and the low last night 70.

Sorry got so hung up on that crazy guy and his warm weather.

I have the New Englander in 12 ga. and have been working up a good turkey load. But as with anything, the season started and I had to use a smokeles gun, yuck!

I hope you planting goes well for you and you can catch up.

I'll take a few crop losses to a late freeze or high winds over hurricanes and oil slicks . I'll live with the 40 below winters over the high humidity. It'll all work out in the end. I don't get to excited over anything anymore, except maybe getting a new gun

True enough Chet. You guys will be having nice shooting weather pretty soon, and I'll stop going to the range because it will be too darn hot to shoot by late-June.

Hurricanes I can live with. But that darn leaking oil well has caused a shut down of all of my regular fishing areas. I'm talking many, many square miles of saltwater marsh. That's a real bummer. I haven't done much freshwater fishing in years. But it looks like that's what I'll have to do until that mess is over.
