call T/C they might sell a scope mount. I am wondering if the one that fits the New Englander and the Black Mountain might fit your WMC.

Sure it's safe, so long as it's done properly. It's already drilled and tapped for the factory rear sight. Those holes can be used as a depth guide.

Have you checked to see if you can get a scope base made to fit it, using the factory sight holes and one hole drilled and tapped in the breech plug? I know you can get them for Hawken and Renegade barrels, but don't know about the White Mountain.

Possibly - but I suspect not. The New Englander has a round barrel. Doesn't the White Mountain have an octagon-to-round barrel?

I have two white mountain carbines. Yes they have an octagon-to-round barrel. One was scoped with a red dot. It just had ordinary weaver bases & QR rings. Later manufactured wmc came with breech plug predrilled if i remember correctly. My neighbor has one with 4 power scope that has killed a bunch of deer. My carbine is back to open sights & used for bush whacking. Great deer drive gun.

That is one model of T/C rifle I do not own. Maybe T/C sells a scope mount for it.

Here is 2 sites that used to sell a white mountain scope mount. 1st one is the setup my neighbour has- no problems after 15 years. I feel sorry for you Cayugad. How do you drive deer carrying those other heavy T/C guns? Oh wait u must be like me- let the young ones do all the walking while I sit on my butt waiting.
