Default Why I Like This Forum

I surf Modern Muzzleloader, Graybeard, Beartooth, The Muzzleloading Forum, and Doug's (pretty much in that order) but HNI's Black Powder forum is my favorite and always first on my list. You may have noticed that, though I post comments on all of them, my original posts pretty much appear here only.

Why do I like HNI the best?

1. In-lines and traditional are combined. I own both styles, like both styles, and like reading about both. I have to chuckle when a moderator on another forum has to move or delete an "inappropriate" post, or says "we can't talk about that here".

2. loosy-goosy. We can go off topic now and then - talk about fishing or the peach crop or why women think the way they do - and no one gets upset.

3. The technical aspects of the forum are reasonably user friendly.

4. (Actually #1) The GUYS. I know all of you guys bounce around to the other forums also, but all of my favorite people seem to show up here too.

EDIT: One thing I DO NOT LIKE is the way advertising blocks are now being inserted in the text block of threads. That stinks!

(3) There's no need to act stupid, even if you're very good at it.
(4) If you eat right and exercise, don't smoke or drink, you're going to die anyway.
