Default New CVA Wolf on the range!

Those of you who entered for the CVA Wolf give away will certainly enjoy this!!

I got my Wolf out on the range today with 90gr Blackhorn209 - 245gr Powerbelts and some new regular power CCI 209 primers.

50 yards off the Caldwell FCX

Close up,

These primers work excellent in this rifle. I found them to be cleaner as far as the soot in the barrel as well as inside the breech plug.

you sure can not argue that... It seems you like that BlackHorn. Have you gave up testing the APP powder? By the way, great shooting.

Nope i have not given up. Its still one of my favorite powders to use. I havent been shooting it though due to me only having magnum primers. With the mag primers i get a crud ring. I never had that before until i used those cci 209M's. I picked up regular cci 209's and i'll see how that does. Lots of stuff to run through the chronograph, just need the weather to help me out.

Head of squirrel at 50 yards. That sure ain't bad. You know, I don't think I've ever seen a compalint about the Wolf from anyone who actually owns one.

i'd use the Optima. For some reason it just seems growing on me. I think the accuracy from load to load, to bullet to bullet, it just keeps impressing more each time i shoot.
