Arrived home this evening from a week away and found a .58 caliber Green Mountain barrel waiting for me. This is the one I bought to fill the Virtuous Cousin's empty stock. Had to cut 1/8" off the under-rib, but that's already taken care of and the barrel is resting comfortably in the Renegade stock.
I now have what I consider the perfect Renegade collection - a .45 LRH, a .50 LRH, a .54 slow twist, and a .58 slow twist.
Guess which one I'll be shooting next week end?

of sheet metal,just so you can hear that big chunk of lead slap something.I know you'll

Well I stuck 100 .575 balls and a can each of FFg and FFFg GOEX in the shooting bag. I'm heading for the hunting lease Friday evening and will be making a lot of smoke Saturday.
