Default ITX round balls

Not sure if anyone has seen or shot these before but i put in an order for 100 .487" and 100 .490 round balls today.

i really like that they offer a smaller sized ball as it will allow the use of a very thick patch that hopefully wont burn up! I'll see how the flinter likes them, as well as the caplocks.

Interesting.

Do you think that they will be tougher on the barrel of a flintlock muzzleloader? That's my concern/question about the non-lead substitutes.

Considering its about as soft as the real stuff, i'd have to say no. My order goes out friday so as soon as it comes in i'll take a look and see how they compare for softness. Also forgot to ask about the weight! I'll weight them both when they get here.
