Default exciting find while turkey hunting

Well I went turkey hunting this morning .I didn't have any success .I only saw 2 turkeys and could not call them in close enough. It was a late start, which was part of the problem plus it was extremely windy. I decided about lunch time to pack up and go home and try again another time. But the best part of the whole trip was a find that really got me excited. This is an area that I have never hunted before. I now plan on doing a little bow hunting and muzzy hunting in this place this coming season. I'll post a pic of my find and you can see why I got excited . i can hardly wait for september. I will also post a pic of the Pennsylvania rifle . I think if I don't get the guy with my bow I will try with this muzzy. They look like a good fit for each other.
it is hard to get a good picture of the rifle because it is so long.

I just got back from a week of turkey hunting in south western virginia. Least amount of turkeys I have ever seen. I know it snowed off and on there since Dec 18th and the snow didnt leave the ground till the end of March. It was also very cold during this time. I found a few starved deer but do you think the turkeys died off too? I like using turkey season to hunt in the morning and deer scout in the afternoon. I loved finding a rub line or scrapes noew that I over-looked during the season.

Nice antlers! That buck definitely has a lot of potential to be a real monster in the future.
