Default t/c impact

i just got them in. can't say that i'm to impressed with them. it has a triumph stock and similar action. the way the action disconnect works on top of the reciever is quite different. it doesn't have the speed breach. have to use a tool to remove the plug.

it's a price point they are trying to hit to compete with inexpensive rifles on the market. I agree not to many people are paying $900 for a muzzleloader.

Default Impact

I bought an Impact a couple of weeks ago. Brought it home and checked it out. Opening breech is very noisy. Trigger pull was terrible! Stock even with the insert in was too short and I have short arms. After opening the action about 4 times it froze and was not able to open it again. Brought it back to the store very next day. Worst piece of crap I have ever seen in a muzzleloader. TC must be getting desparate to put out something like that.

Cayugad, they sell for $249.95 but I don't reccomend them to anyone.

I've seen them at the stores and havn't been impressed. If your going to spend the $250 why not go get a omega or find a good deal on a triumph. If i was TC I wouldnt worry about the cheap market. They have a great thing going with the Triumph and why mess that up?

TC has at least 2 fine guns for less than $300 when on sale. Im not impressed by the Impact. I would rather have a Triumph for $50 more or a base Omega for $80 more.

Even though i dont shop at Walmart you can get their versions of other TC guns for almost the same price and rarely even less.

Sadly RW thinks its the cats meow but wont even test a Bergara barreled rifle from the competition.

they'd have been better off with a mini encore break action. something like the wolf.

I fixed it for you

A stripped down X7 would have been cool too. The regular one is my favorite TC ML.
