Default Finally got the sights right

Ordered these a few weeks ago and got them put on last week. The front sight in a wee bit low, i am shooting 4" high @ 50 yards with 70gr goex 3f, .018 pillow tick. Almost had 3 shots touching today at 50 yards with it. Perfect muley load. I'll see how it does as 100 yards. May end needed a higher front sight though. Although i guess i could file down the rear sight to move my POI down a bit, Hmm i just may have to try that once i get out to 100 yards with it.

It looks like you have plenty of room to work with on that rear sight Devil. If you want to get a feel for how much you would need to remove from the rear sight before doing anything permanent, add a little "temporary" height to the front sight with duct tape.

Shoot it with the higher sight. Then cut a little off and shoot again. Keep cutting a little off until you are on target. However much you added to the front is the amount you will need to remove from the rear.

thanks semi, thats very clever and if i have to touch anything, i'll be sure to do that first rather than screw up another expensive front sight!
