Talk about fast shipping. On March first I phoned Cabela's and ordered an Accura. I was told it would take a couple of days to be shiped from Cabela's and not to expect it for 5 to 8 days. 45 minutes ago the UPS truck pulls up with my Accura in hand.
For the next several days I will be reading the owners manual inside and out. I will also be getting what is needed to shoot my new ml.
In Jan. Cabelas had $100 off the Optima. Then I rec'd a $30 off coupon on orders over $100. $130 off I couldn't resist, so I bought the stainless, camo'd thumbhole stock Optima. They had it to my door in 3days. I've shot it, and absolutely love the gun. So I can only imagine how nice the Accura must be!!

The owners manual suggests shooting powerbelts, but I am open for suggestions. Breachplug suggested using Thompson 240 grain XTP Mags with either Pyro RS Powder or Pyro Pelets. I am leaning towads BPs suggestion.
The Optima is a fine quality rifle, in fact I was considering getting the new 2010 when Cabela's put the 09 Accura on sale for $50 more + free shipping.
Soon as the range near my house opens back up I will swiss cheese some paper. Right now I am going to have to use open sights until the budget allows for a scope.
Thanks for the replys. BP I will deffiently be asking qustions and thanks for offering your advice.
Im shooting Powerbelts right now out of the Accura. American Pioneer 2f & 3 along with the 150gr Super Sticks. The 245-295-270 plat and 338 plat all shoot excellent.
good question. I havent shot a bullet yet that wasnt accurate in the accura. Conical and sabots to be exact. Another bullet you MUST try is the 250gr thor! Thats one hell of a bullet in the accura
