Default t/c pennsylvania hunter rifle

just picked one up n.i.b for 200.00 has any one had one of these and was it a good deal ? what about twist ? lucky day i guess.......

If it's what I remember, the octagon to round barrel then it's a 1-66 twist, perfect for round balls...

I have a 50 cal flintlock Half octagon to round 1x66 32 inch barrel. I use 90 gr of 2 f black and a 490 ball.

I have the same rifle. It is a 1-66 twist I believe. Mine shoots 90 grains of powder and a patched roundball excellent...

thats an awesome deal. i have the flintlock version. i also snagged a new 21 inch barrel off ebay. as a carbine its carries nice but looks funny. CONGRATS!

Jeep, I'm almost positive the PA Hunter had a round barrel. But I've been wrong once or twice before. It did come with a slow twist for round balls. (either 1:60 or 1:66) My friend had one and he used it quite a bit with good success. His shot buffalo ballets good with 100 gr of FFFg.

mine is full octagon. i dont know what years they changed from the half round.
