Well, this is not an opinion there has been some pressure testing done by several rifle companies and several private people I know of. 150 gr of Pyrodex is the pressure that is generally accepted as a max and 120 gr of 777 or 130 gr of BH is in that range. Since I have not felt any need to go that high I can only estimate or give an opinion on 150 gr of BH, but I would say the pressure level would be in the neighborhood of 190 gr of Pyrodex. Remember that it is a progressive burning powder and the more the pressure the faster it burns which increases the pressure faster; It does have some of the inhibitors in it to hold it down but it is my belief that a large enough charge would over come them. Do be careful of double charging BH.
