A guy offered me a brand new, unfired, CVA Wolf for $100 bucks today. I told him I would take it if it passed a close inspection. I have no reason to think this gun is not as described...brand new and unfired. I have seen them advertised online for as little as $130 lately but I will not have to pay shipping on this one. Someone tell me that I got a good deal so I can quit fretting about it.
Those that own Wolf rifles seem to like them. That price sounds more then fair.

Thats what I paid for my Wolf, new in the box three years ago. Thats a very good deal. I shoot 300gr Barnes Expanders in a Harvestor Crushed Rib sabot with 2-50gr Pyrodex pellets and W209 primers.
Now I'm itching to get my hands on it. It is about 30 miles from where I am but, with all this snow, it might as well be 300. Maybe next week. Then I will be looking for bases, rings and a scope. Wait, I think I have a scope stashed away for a project such as this. Then I'll have to wait for the 3 feet of snow to get off the range so I can shoot it. Something to look forward to.
I was finally able to hook up with the seller and get the rifle today. It was as advertised...never fired. Now I have to find bases and rings to put a scope on it. Any suggestions, or just get what fits?
Good luck with the Wolf,as for base and rings I went with the Durasight combo base and QR rings on my Accura they were like about 43 or 46 http://www.durasight.com/bucks.
