cabelas carbine 54cal

Any one shoot one of them and how do you like it ? found one from a guy at work looking to pay $ 160 and he has shot it about 5 times
good deal or not ?

great deal. mine was a .45cal though. the 54 is an ever bigger plus.

First never look too interested, second ask what they want, third make a offer for less, forth walk away happy with a better price.

If it isnt rusted and pitted Id offer him 150 and jump on it with both feet. My 54 is a kicker but its also hell on wheels with round balls.

They are great. I have two, one in hte .54 and one in .50 cal. The .54 cal has a 1 in 24" twist and loves to shoot sabots. I am shooting a Barnes sabot and have harvested deer with it.

My other gun has a 1 in 66" twist and I shoot PRBs in it. I paid $400 for the .54 cal. Cabelas rifle and yours would be a great price.
