Ordered some 502 Thors for my Knight LRH on his recommendation. They turned out to be too small. I had shot two of them, but asked if I could return the remander for exchange for the 503s. He said sure.
Now at this point, he had not even received the check for the first ones, although he may have gotten it by today. And so yesterday I got around to mailing him the 502s back. Figured a couple of days for him to get them, then allow a week from that time to package and send me the replacements.
Today, I got two full packages of the 503s in the mail. No cost even for the shipping.
That my friends is customer service!

And if your particular gun likes the and shoots them well let us know. Some of us could not get them to shoot quite as well as the FPB but 1.5 is actually not all that bad.
Well, got a chance to shoot them and they may be a slight challenge to be as accurate as the FPBs out of my Knight LRH. Shot about 25 shots from 95 to 110 gr of BH 209. The only combo that gave me decent accuracy was 103 gr. I shot a 4 shot group at 80 yards that was 2 & 1/2 inches. For open sights, that is pretty good, although I can pretty consistenly get 3 inches out of FPBs at 100 yards. I think I will get one of the new Lehigh breechplug combo before I shoot any more of them. That might change things.
I also think I may have one of the pretty big bores. Even with the 503s, the bullets were not that tight.

may want to try the 300gr thor. a guy on my forum shoots a rem700 and he was getting 4 to 4 1/2" groups with the 250 thor. He finished off a 1.5" group with a peep sight just by switching to the 300gr thor.
