Default Back after a while

I used to hang out on here ALOT. Well I thought I would pop back in and see what is going on these days as I now have more time. My son and I both killed deer this year with our smoke poles. We both have TC Omegas. My son is 11 and shoots a 50 grain load under 240gr bullet. He killed his first doe this year with his smoke pole with that load. He took a 70 yard shot in the woods and hit her in the neck. Not what I had taught him, but she had stopped behind a tree and it was neck or gut so I was impressed with his choice and it was an awesome shot in the woods for an 11 year old. Definately my proudest day since he was born

Anyways hope to see that cayugad and a couple of the other old timers are still around. Speaking of cayugad, did you start on that smoke pole book yet? You need to record alot of that knowledge to be passed on.

And I really hope that mr. grumpy himself, Frontier Gander, is still around.
