Since some of us have been talking about mk=-85's lately, I thought I would show a picture of mine

The top one is the blued/walnut stock one I recently purchased on gunbroker. I redid the stock after I got it. Its a nice looking gun with an excellent bore. The reciever has a little pitting inside. I may polish it up in there and put some cold blue on it. This gun was probably made in about '93.
The middle one is the oldest. It is from '86 or early '87. It is in excellent shape and has a barrel that is not a Green Mountain. It has a 1 in 32 inch twist and is an excellent shooter with 250 grain xtps. The barrel on this one is also quite a bit tighter than the other two.
The bottom one is probably from '95. I bought this one from a man in Delaware who goes by Ourway77. He included a lot of miscellaneous stuff with the gun. The stock on this one is "thicker" than the other two. I wonder if there had been some problem with stock failure on the earlier models.
I had mentioned before that the recoil lug on my old one is devetailed into the reciever instead of welded. I thought I would show a picture of that.

I would love to see some pics and information on other members mk-85s
