Default CVA Firebolt ultra mag

Any info on a good load for the cav firebolt in .50 cal
I bought one a few days ago sited in with round balls with 100 gr. pyro pellets.
No good
used 240 gr. cheap shots all over, used 300 gr. lightfield alpha golds with 100 gr. pyro pelltets so so.
any info?

I can understand why the round balls were not all that good. So now it is a matter of finding out what works. A lot of it will be hit or miss. My CVA Staghorn Magnum works real good with 90 grains of powder and about anything I put down it. But that does not mean your rifle will be the same thing. All you can do is try.
