Leupold Hi mounts on mine.
Tried the Med. ones and had to change.

on a quality ML - with a quality scope - "leupold' steel base and rings ..no aluminum for me ..

I used a one piece base leupold base and medium Millet rings.

I used the weaver style steel base that Warne makes. Very solid. I accompanied it with Warne's Medium steel rings and I'm totally satisfied with it.

Medium 2 piece works fine for me.

Leupold quick detach base and rings. I like them so I can get the scope off when I clean the rifle. Maintains Zero when I put it back on.
