Default Which Nikon Prostaff for Omega

I currently have a Nikon Prostaff 3-9X40 on my Omega. I have been using it for the last three years. Today, we had our family Christmas and I received a Prostaff 2-7X32 shotgun scope. I already have a 4X32 Pro Diamond on my Rem. 1100 slug gun and like the scope but I always opt for my Omega when I hit the field during IL's firearm season. I am considering putting the 3-9X40 on my .243 and the 2x7x32 on my ML. I don't really think I am losing anything by switching, nor am I gaining much, except for a better scope on my .243. Your thoughts?

I used to live in west central Indiana so I feel like I know what type of cover and terrain you will be hunting with your ML. I would put the 2x7x32 on the ML. You won't run into many shots at a distance that you would ever need a 3x9x40 on a ML in IL.

I have two rifles with that 2-7 and they are a great scope.
