Default Lefty Omega Stock ?

Hey guys and gals...

I am looking for an omega left thumb holed stock, I have a camo right handed one on now but I am wat to left eye dominant to keep shooting with an eye that I can barley see out of so I have told my self and as for my new years resolution that I will learn how to shoot left handed after 28 years of shooting right... siiiiiiighhhhh.

OK.... so I have learned and am very displeased that TC appears to not make a lefty thumb holed stock for the omega.... they do seem to make one for there encore of course...

does anyone know of a good custom gun smith that could make a lefty thumb hole? Would they need to take measurements of my arms, should, etc?

I like the omega enough to keep it but if I cant find a lefty stock I might as well sell as is and get an encore since they have the lefty option... still makes my blood boil.

I have learned and can accurately shoot a bow left handed and actually feel like its the natural way for me to shoot instead of right, actually easier then I thought...

any and all options that anyone has are appreciated!

If you flip the gun 180 degree's then flip it end for end it will be a left handed gun...that's what I have done in the past. although the results have been questionable.
No, I feel your pain. I'm a lefty and struggle with that stuff to. Hell I bought a bolt action in left hand for the first time in 35 years and had a devil of a time trying to lear to shoot it. i'm not so sure if I wouldn't try to cross of the gun when pinch time comes!
Have you considered building your own? I found it to be easier than I thought.

Hello,
Been lurking on this site for years. TC does make a Left Hand Thumbhole stock. I know because I have one. As far as I know they only make it in Laminated. I too was told there was no such thing. While at the local Gun store up the street, the owner showed me a right hand thumbhole Omega. I told him I was left Handed and he said we have one of those too. To my amazement he had 2. My friend and I both bought one. This was 2 years ago. Also I have seen 1 or 2 on Gunbroker.com. Everywhere I went I was told there was no such animal. TC's FAQ a year or so back even said there were none. Good luck finding one. I have no idea how many were actually made. They're worth it if you find one. I love my TH Omega and my X7

Thanks for both opinions...im gona keep my eyes open but may call a few gun smiths to see if they would be interested.

I want to at least give it a try to shoot left and if after a long while I just don't put up good groups out to 150 then ill reevaluate the situation. So finding that tc left stock would be cheaper over all...

I might even give TC a call and see how far I get

again thanks!
