Default Bushnell DOA 250

Has anyone used this scope in the field or seen it? I'm thinking about getting one for my Triumph. Will 100 grains of 777 be ok as opposed to 150 grains? I know the Nikon Omega scopes are set up to handle 150 grains as opposed to 100. Any help would be appreciated.

I shoot a Bushnell DOA - but i shoot the Elite 3200 3x9x40 on my Triumph...

Here is a thread...

http://huntingnet.com/forum/black-po...showed-up.html

I went with this scope because I probably would not shoot the recommended load and was not worried about the distance line falling where Bushnell says they will. I shoot my load - then match the reticule lines to the distances I shoot. works for me...

It is really a nice scope. The big difference other power is the parallax of the 250 is set at 75 yards and the 3200 is set @ 100 yards

Any charge is okay. Just get some shooting in to determine what range each part of the reticle is good for, and either memorize it or tape it to the scope.

I shoot T7-2f, and I either shoot 110 or 120 with a .458/300 grain Nosler partition. The scope can handle that just fine. In actuallity that is less recoil than a 300 Win Mag - It has a Bushnell on it also...

With that said remember the Triumph is much lighter than most ML's so felt recoil is going to be greater - not going to bother the scope but it might you...
