Default thats a easy way to stop a hunt.

Well saturday i washed all my clothes. Repacke and loaded all my gear into my new 05 jeep wrangler. Took the back seat out and go some plastic just incase i got a deer and need to toss it in the back. Went to sleep around 10:00pm and got up at 5. Right out of bed i noticed my belly was blouted and cramping bad. Made it 10 minutes before i started throwing up. In a hour it was coming out every which way. I honestly thought i was dieing. I laid in bed all day yesterday thinking there was a huge buck right under my stand. I think it was a bad jar of pickle that had sit out over night that i used friday to my turkey salad. Dad think it was a sick kid we had here friday but either way it was killer. Well i got indiana week off between gun season and muzzy season to get feeling better. But i know this i am glad it did not start when i was in my stand

If it was Sunday morning you got sick it was more likely what you had for lunch or dinner Saturday. Food poisoning is not going to strike more than 24hrs later. Typical incubation period is 6-8 hours.

I've had it BAD 5 times in the past 6-7 years, including twice last winter, I know it well...

I could only imagine what would have happened in the stand.
Hope you feel better and sorry for your bad luck. If it makes you feel better I missed a 12 pointer with my muzzy during rifle season and can still see him. It was a frontal shot at 75 yards and I tried to hit an area the size of a an apple on his chest. A lot of restless nights. Have to wait until Dec 19 thru 29 here in Mo during our Muzzy season, hope he is still there.

Good thing it activated the muzzle brake or the recoil may have been unmanageable....
