Default Wolf Bites again!

Opening day of ML today. Didnt see anything this morning, but this afternoon, I saw 5 different does. I decided to give one of them a ride in the back of my truck. Shot was about 40 yards. Shooting the 295 grain powerbelt, with 80 grains of 777 loose powder. All I have found so far, is one little sliver of the powerbelt, looks like it was a pass thru. She only ran about 25 yards, and piled up. Too bad it was 25 yards straight into the river! Had to get the rubber boots out to get her. I will be skinning and cutting tomorrow, I will let you know if I find any more of the bullet. This will be my first attempt at processing.

Sorry for the back of the truck pics, I forgot to take in the field pics.

awesome man!! Im looking forward to the inner damage report.

With the HP, im sure it did shed some weight with the shoulder shot, but thats okay because it helps us know what to expect with that bullet and that powder charge.

Nice Doe!! Gotta love them little ole Wolf rifles. I'm heading to Southern Illinois Wednesday for the Illinois second season after having to miss the first season due to family matters. I'm 4 for 4 with my Wolf.

Congrats on your kill.
I love the Wolf rifle.
I have two other CVA's but not the wolf.
My wally world had one in stainless and camo that is calling my name,I think for treestand hunting the Wolf would be perfect.
I can use my 28" for the groundblind hunts
