Default bad scope

not really a black powder question but it is i guess, how do you tell if a scope is still good or if it is "shook". i have 2 scopes that i founf in my gun cabinet but don't know if they will still shoot straight and consistent, any tricks or tips, i mean other than try them and hope for the best.

No tricks that I know of, unless you can see damage, just try them. Make sure you start at a close distance first, 25yds with a good backstop. If they hold zero and do not fog inside then there good. Success to you!

Gonna have to just try them, unless you can see obvious damage.
