Default update on knight breech plugs from lehigh

I must have missed the update on the breech plugs from Lehigh. Are they available yet? Have they been tested? What do they cost ? Just a few questions as I am interested in some if they are ready , shoot good and the price is right.

I don't think that you missed any notices. I have been watching the various muzzeloader forums and haven't seen any recent updates about when the Lehigh breech plugs for Knight Rifles may become available. I definitely would like to purchase the plug for my Knight Rifle.

I don't know where Tom has been lately. Probably busy with work. I'm sure he'll update us when there's news. Lehigh may also be backed up with business. I really don't know...

Chet

Just talked to Tom on the phone... he has been really busy @ work - sorta like spitting in a hot frying pan... but then again he is like that most of the time anyway... BUT...

The design of the plug is done... Lehigh is trying to arrange packaging and printing as well as the mass production of the first run. I have no idea how many Lehigh Dave plans on making with the first run - but it should be quite a few...

I am hoping Tom or Dave will provide more of an update later...

So that is what I know at this time...

Hi guy's, the plug is Awesome to say the least. To make the plug perfect he would need each individual gun. The way around that is a plug that's 90% blow back free and he accomplished that with two of my Elites in both 45 and 50.

On a sad note Dave's (At Lehigh) best friend died a week ago. Very sad and he is taking care of everything for the family and the kids. So i haven't asked about anything lately. I hope and pray he bounces back soon. My best friend was killed and i understand completely what he's going thru.

Hey guys,

Are you talking BPs for all models of Knight rifles?
How about the Rolling Blocks in particular?
Thanks!

Would that fit the original orange disc rifle so the jackets are not necessary?
