Default Awesome Barnes

I was out hunting yesterday to set up tree stand at open field at 3 pm. Till about 430pm , A large doe came out the wood directly to me about 60 yard . I decided to aim at her but I decided to against it because 2 more show up was fawns . Another 2 more adult , I raised the gun at them . Before I placed into a scope . Another following was a flashing white rack , good thing a he follwing closer
My 45 cal knight Elite with Omega Nikon sent 105 grain T7 behind Barnes 195 gr at quarter away. After smoke clear , He dropped in his track .. the lung blew up like a fist size hole . The heart was almost all gone.. I am so hooked with it for 4 year already . I am using 2 more doe permit with my T/C Omega 50 cal in Southern Tier , NY

Fine deer there WiseWood. Congratulations. Did you weight him?

Congrats! All I hunt with is Barnes Expanders MZ in 300gr. They do the job! This was recovered from a spike buck shot in the neck qaurtering toward me. I found it in the body cavity while washing it out after field dressing.

Barnes...the deadliest copper flower in the woods.

Hopefully, I'll have a picture of an entrance and exit wound on either a doe or buck. Passed up five smaller bucks since Saturday...didn't have a very clear shot on a 135 class buck so I didn't shoot. The bigger bucks now know it's game on here is Wisconsin. kl
