Default Lyman Trade Rifle

How do you all like your Lyman Trade rifles for those of you who have them? I am thinking about getting one in a 54cal flintlock.

Don't have a Trade Rifle, but my .54 Great Plains is a hoot to shoot. I've never seen a bad post about Lyman Trade Rifles. Most love them. Will this be your first flintlock?

I own and shoot a Lyman .54 caliber Trade Rifle in flintlock. With the 1-48 twist, it seems able to shoot a lot of different projectiles. With roundball it shoots a .530 ball and 100 grains of powder. It also shoots powerbelts, and maxiball. The speed of the lock is very impressive and it is a great sparker. I did put in a RMC touch hole liner. I also use 3f goex as primer in it.
