Default Rossi

Just wanted to drop you guys a note an tell you that $50.00 rossi i purchased 3-4 weeks ago dropped the hammer on a nice 8pt this past Saturday. The load was 90grs pyrodex pushing a hornady 300gr hollow point an cci 209 primer. The shot was appox 70yds an a complete pass through.Dropped right in his tracks. Both front shoulders were so badly bruised that i can not use any meat from there.exit hole was about as big as a 50 cent piece......huge.Will post pics as soon as i figure out how to do that.

Way to go Frontstuffer! But don't you know you can't shoot a deer with a cheap Rossi?

I love 300 grain Hornadys or Gold Dots because I want a pass through. But I'm a heart/lung shooter if at all possible. I hate torn up shoulders.

Congratulations on the buck. Its not the cost of the rifle but how well it is handled and prepared. Sounds like you had it all under control.

Nice Job on your Buck. A cheap MLer does'nt matter, the person behind it makes all the difference in the world.
