Default Found my shakey cure for the range

My last 3 or 4 outings with the Accura wernt that great. I kept shaking and as i type this, still am shaking slightly. No idea whats causing it but i fixed this for the range.

I was shooting the 405gr Blackbelts with 80gr RS. These load a lot easier and prefer a fouled barrel. I should have fouled it but i figured to hell with it. I just want to go shoot for a bit.

3" group from shot 1 to 3. Shots 2 and 3 on the fouled bore at 1 5/8". The CCI primers have shrunken the groups with Powerbelts. Also, no cool down time. Just shoot and reload.

I need to order a 50pack of either the 245 or 295gr powerbelts. Its deer only for me next year as im saving my elk Pref points for a trophy unit.

Try some good bullets with Harvester crushed rib sabots and get your blood sugar checked.

Its a Bushnell Sportsman 3-9x32. I actually really like it. Normally i use a 40mm scope but this 32 fit perfect.

Heck i thought my 2 1/2 group was badwith the triumph.I shake to. heck i went to shoot and jerked the gun and stopped my self short of pulling the trigger i was on thehill behind the target when i stopped. I thought shaking was what opened my group up at 100 yard i think it was because i was lubing the sabot with oil and i think it fouled the barrel. I have been shooting then running a windex and alchol patch down it to get most of the junk out seems to be working.

Shooting technique makes a HUGH difference when you get out there at 100 yards and beyond. Consistency in how you hold the gun, how hard you grip the wrist, how firm you pull it to the shoulder, where you place it on the sandbags, how you squeeze the trigger, keeping the sight picture through the shot (no head lifting), etc., all matter.

Try this when you start to have problems grouping. Put your target at 25 yards and shoot very light loads - something around 50 grains. Shoot (and consciously work on consistency) until you're getting five shot groups you can cover with a quarter - and THINK about what you're doing with each of those factors.
