Default Old Triple Seven - Good or Bad

I have some Triple Se7en that a couple of years old.
It's been stored in a fireproof safe.
I noticed the powder had formed clumps.
I can easily bust them up by shaking the bottle.
Is there a self-life on Triple Se7en?

Not sure i would not think so if it is dry might call Hodgens and ask. Normaly apowder with clubs i would run through a food proccesser but i doubt running 777 though one would be a good idea. If you do take some video. LOL. Bust it up and shoot some and see if it shoots and what if any affect you have of acc.

I have T7 that is almost five years old, but it has not clumped... and it shoots great. The one thing that I do is tighten all lids when they go into storage.

T7 will catch moisture if you allow it to.

Personally I would break up the clumps - load it up and shoot it. Check your results with a known good powder.

I once shot a load of T7 that I had emersed in water - then allowed to completely dry - it seemed to work just fine. It was a one time - one shot experiment.

A Chronograph would tell you if it's still good if available.

I have a thing with using old powder, I use it up over the summer. I always buy new and use the same powder I sight in with that I use for that Hunting Season so everything is the same. Why take a chance for the extra few Bucks, it may cost you 1 Buck.
