Default call them or not.

I was looking my triumph over. More just playing with it. Plus i had to take the forend stock off to get the ends of the paper display thing that was through the stock and barrel. I noticed a Rough spot on the rear stock. Felt like little grains of sand. Then o noticed there on both half sof the stock not real bad but their there. Now you can not see it heck i did not notice it shooting yesterday but now that i know it is there it will drive me nuts. Being this is a 500 gun and not a walmart cheapo should i call Thompson center and do alittle complaining. Whats the chance there fix it or blow me off. WOuld you call or not

I wouldn't bother calling but that's just me. I would keep shooting and find the best load for that baby.
My Triumph by the way shoots 1" groups at 100 yards with 100 gr 777 and a 250 gr superglide shockwave. I can get close to 2" groups all the way to 200 yards. It will shoot up to 130 grains of 77 before it starts opening up. Hopefully you find the magic number for yours. Enjoy It shoots BH209 good also , around 120 gr for me

Yeah.... they'll have you send it back to them and keep your $500 and your $500 gun for the entire hunting season.

If you are seriously that anal dude.... put it in a box and don't ever shoot it.... its a hunting tool.... its a $500 cookie cutter muzzleloader... not an English double gun.

Take that thing and kill a deer with it... TC doesn't warranty a camo finish anyway.

If you are seriously that upset about it... take it back to the store and see if they will swap the stock for another one... keep in mind that you now get to start all over again zeroing in.

It is not that i am anal about it. Just that i did not expect it. I figured most of them hand this. Not to bad just like buying a new car and seeing a small door ding before you get home. i am not upset just alittle bumbed out but only alittle. What worrys me is if it will cause the camo to come off not so much the look. They ant getting it before i kill my deer. I really see no need to send it in. I just wonder what they would say.

I would certainly call and ask about your findings, I am sure they will try to meet your expectations. Further, remember it is a lifetime waranty, If they can not get you a turn around time fast enough to get you hunting... wait til the season is over and then take action.

Tim,

Until you have a blemish on it, it won't feel comfortable anyway. If you are dissatisfied, you may try calling and ask for a coupon or certificate to their retail shop which you can purchase from online. Get some bullets or something but I do like collie said. Keep shooting and kill a deer with it
