Default Was coming down to the wire

Guys, not ML related but it was coming down to the wire with Saturday being the last day for archery. He's not the bigger 8 pointer I was after but he is a respectful buck for this area.
This guy walked right over a trail of Tink's 69 I had laid out and cam right to the base of my tree where I had dripped some buck urine for a cover scent. He came straight in and I had to wait until he turned and put some distance between me and him.

He's a nice looking guy. I still have 2 archery tags left. I am planning on trying to fill them before rifle season starts this weekend. I have passed on quite a few but I think it's time to lower the bar!
Congrats.

Congratulations on a nice buck... I would have never let him walk past either.

Nice buck Bronco! I would have had to let the air out of him too. Heck, if I see one even close to that this week for gun season, I am throwing some lead his way. Congrats!

That's a good one. He wouldn't have walked away from me unless I had already got a bigger one this season.

Congratulations!

Thanks guys - Also, FYI - that camo I have on - its Mossy Oak Treestand. That has to be the best camo I ever wore. I've probably been archery hunting from a tree stand (white oak) for about 15 days, morning and evening and had deer as close as 10 feet from the base of the tree (this buck actually put his nose on the base of the tree) almost every outing. Probably about 40 encounters in all, including bucks and does. And out of that, only one doe looked up at me and that was only for a few seconds. I almost felt like I was invisible to the deer. They just could not pick me up. With other camos, I often had deer look up and stare, and sometimes bolt. But this design really has my 'thumbs up'.
