I am still unsure as to weather i want to leave my triumph loaded or unload it between hunts. I know i do not want to waste a 75 or 1.00 sabot by firing the gun everytime i leave the woods. Question can i take the speed breech out of the triumph dumb the powder out and just slide the sabot and bullet out. I know i am wasting powder but i atleast get to keep the sabot. I properly will leave it loaded unless it has been raining or been more then a few days or week since hunted. Does that sound ok

I hunt on a clean dry barrel. All oils are removed. I make sure the breech plug is spotless. Therefore, there's no need to fire a primer before loading, and no primer fouling to suck moisture out of the air.
If the weather is dry I will leave the gun loaded, but I don't bring it into a heated area. I leave it in a locked garage. It's going from cold to warm that causes metal to sweat. After a few days I'll push the load out just for peace of mind. I've never seen powder that looked like it would not fire.
If it has been raining, I push the load out after each hunt and reload in the AM. I shoot FPBs and can re-use the bullets. I also try to catch the powder and keep it in a separate container for practice. It seems to go off fine.
I remove my BP dig out my loose powder ( pellet will fall out ) thewn push the sabot/bullet out saving my bullet , plus i don't have to clean my gun . I do run a clean patch down the barrel thought . I then re-load if going out the next day . I only do this if we are having bad weather . Good weather i leave it loaded and keep my gun in the back of my PU truck in the garage where the temps change slowly .
My guns get loaded on a squeaky clean dry barrel and stay loaded until I shoot something or the three-month season ends. Never have had a problem.

Hunted with my encore for 20-21 days without unloading it-it went bang and there was a dead deer. 209 primer is going to set off that powder charge unless is wet.

Only time I have ever had a problem was bring an extremely cold rifle (low teens) into the warm house and leaving it all day. I left the barrel point up and condensation ruined the powder. Gun 1/2 ignited on the CVA Kodiak.
With the speed breech, you should be able to get the sabot out to reuse. The powder may end up in your threads. You may be cleaning the threads anyways to remove the excess powder. Pellets are bit easier in this regard.
People always complain about the cost of wasting a bullet when unloading. We spend how many hundreds on the gun and prctice shooting, does $1.00 more at the end of the hunt matter when confidence is concerned? Set up a target at the end of the shooting lane near your house. If the gun is really cold and you cannot leave it in the garage, take aim and fire (if you have the property). Allows you some mid-season practice.

I took a deer on Friday and reloaded immediatly. Did not need the second shot. Since I was using Blackhorn and I knew I would hunt again in a few days I just left it loaded at the end of the day (minus primer).
Two days later I hunted again but with no luck. I got nervous leaving the ML loaded with one shot (already fired so I did shoot a tree before I left the woods the second day. Don't know if I needed to waste the bullet (FPB) and powder but figured better safe than sorry.
Well I used to leave the rifles loaded all season. Then when they started failing to fire on me, I changed my ways of doing things. I was always careful of how the rifle was prepared, how it was stored after the hunt, everything. I then started getting misfires. I can not depend on a rifle I am not positive with. Perhaps it is the climate I live in, or the weather I hunt in, but I shoot mine off at the end of the day, clean it, and reload it the next morning.
