RE: New Frontier Bear Tooth Magnum?
The three biggest mistakes gun buyers make are reading the reviews AFTER their purchase & failing to physically inspect for quality and failing to shoulder the rifle for personal fit.
Here is a worthy, similar American-made option for roughly the same price. Most Walmarts carry them.

It is a cheapened version of the CVA Optima, if you believe it possible. As for " mistakes," I guess it all depends on what you bought it for.
As T 7 said, now just isn' t really the ideal time to ask for opinions.

May not be the ideal time but anyway, here' s mine. I bought one, too. First trip out with 295gr hollowpoint PowerBelts in front of 80gr 777 FFg was giving me 8" groups at 100yd. Simmons 3-9X scope.
Next time out with the same load and I' m getting 1" groups. ???????????
Why? I don' t really have a clue. I like the gun and it' s features (Break open, 209 ignition without any special tools or plastic disks.)

I finally got to shoot it! It shot very well at 100 yds with 295 grain powerbelt hollowpoints and 2 50 grain 777 pellets! Clean up was also great after shooting the 777!
I am very pleased with this cheap rifle!

Glad the rifle worked for you. I also ran into some kidding when I bought my $40.00 CVA Mountain Stalker in .54 caliber. When my friends and I shot the other day getting ready for hunting season today, they stopped teasing me after they seen the way this thing shoots. Today is our early season where we have to fill our doe tags. I was given two tags to fill.

Bear Tooth Magnum
Love the Gun,light shoots awesome,I had shot 295 GRain Powerbelts
with 110 grains of pyrodex powder.I tried something different and went to the 777 powder and to the 245 grain powerbelts.Tack driver,
Now.Got the gun for christmas last year to use as a light brush gun.
The only things i'm not comfortable with is the trigger pull, its to hard, and i'm going to put a limb saver butt on it.Have the alpine
7 by 15 power scope.which is good for now.
