Default T/C Finish

Is the weathershield finish on a Triumph worth the extra cost or would a blued Triumph do just as well? Considering a Triumph but not sure about the finish. I normally go the cheapest route of the model I am considering and I assume all the Triumphs are the same except for the finish. Thanks.

YOU can find the blued on blue for $359.00....for the extra $60...what the heck, maybe it'll work and only time will tell on this one and no one has had one long enough to tell if it's worth beans.. ask again in 3 years..

Never heard of the weather shielf coming off. Though it might. I am getting the camo which i assume is weathershield camo either way i went camo. If it was me and i could afford it i would go with the weathershield. Though it i was on a low budget i would be ok with the blue. Eitherway you will not go wrong.

There have been numerous cases of problems with the weather shield including peeling in spots and showing rust. No plated gun has ever been problem free when they used nickle. If you can not get Stainless then Blued is better as well as cheaper.

My Triumph has probably 150 shots, numerous days (15+) afield in crap weather in NY last year, and a week of cold wet snow in Iowa lat Jan. Finish still looks new.

Thanks for the input. While I like to looks of the weathershield I have decided to go with the blued model. Now to find one of those $350 ones. I'm in no hurry though as I have a couple of other ML's to use for this season. Thanks again.
