Default First Ever Muzzleloader Kill

Weapon: T/C Triumph all camo with Leupold VX-1 3x9x40
Load: T/C Shockwave .50 cal 250 gr with 100 gr. 777
Weather conditions: warm and breezy temps in the upper 70's
Place of hunt: Johnston County, NC
Animal taken: Whitetail deer buck 5 pt.
Distance: 91 yards
Shot placement: Broadside "break'em down" shoulder through shoulder with exit....them Shockwaves are for real. No tracking, DRT

And all this equals one happy hunter!

Congratulations Jbar. Nothing like getting your first kill with a muzzleloader. Looks like those shockwaves did a great job. Looks like the same results I'm getting from them. Again, congratulations on a nice deer.

Congratulations on your first muzzle loader deer. That Shockwave did exactly what it was supposed to do. That sure looks like a good eating buck. Many good meals there. Again, way to shoot. I suppose you don't like muzzleloader hunting... guessing from the smile on your face.
