Default any of you all cast your own bullets for sabbot bullets?

my nephew casts his bullets and most of us in the family that shoot blackpowder get them from him but they are just a round nose bullet...was wondering if anyone had a source for a hollow point bullet that we can get ....i think they are a .451 dia but i cant remember for sure...if thats so all i can find is a round ball mould..dont really want that

Go to some of the on line stores and check LEE, LYMAN, and some of the other molds you can purchase. I cast a .457 423 grains that according to the mold is a 405 grain but they are not using pure lead. I used to case a 200 grain round nose bullet in .451 but sold the mold. I got that for my black powder pistol. There are lots of molds out there.

I would think any .451 flat nose bullet cast from lead weighing from 250-300grs would work nicely...

I cast 300 gr and 240 gr .430 I also cast a . 458 400 gr that I resize to 452 that I shoot in 50 cal. I have 405 54 cal REAL also 320 gr 50 cal REAL bullets. I cast for my 357 30 cal and 44 mag revolver All shoot well with sabot or full cal.
