Default Breech Plug Wrench

Anyone have an extra breech plug wrench laying around for a Knight LK II?

It depends on your breech plug. The oldest models have a straight slot head. For that I use a CVA Staghorn Magnum breech plug wrench. For the modern hex head ones, I use a Black Diamond Deluxe Breech Plug wrench. I might have another Black Diamond wrench around, but I would have to look. I once had quite a few of them. If that is the one you need I might be able to help you out.

Sorry I can not help you there. I use a solid breech plug wrench from CVA on those, and it works perfect. I don't think they are all that expensive.

I thought about the screwdriver idea too, I just thought if someone had one laying around, I would see if I could snag it. Will I have to order one right from Knight, or will someone else carry them?

I think I have what you need. 6 5/8" long and 5/8" dia. It has a slot on one end and a notch on the other, that would fit inside a slot.. Blued solid steel w/a 1/4" hole, 1" from each end thru the shaft. Let me know if this will work for ya.

After thinking about it, I think the was for a CVA I had several yrs. ago.

BigDaddy12t

I use a simple tool that you can find at most any NAPA store. It is a slot driver that will fir 1/4" drive ratchet wrench.

Here is a picture....
